Our Generations Campaign is our commitment to bringing Gospel transformation to every generation in the Lowcountry — not only the one worshiping here today, but the ones still to come.
This effort provides the facilities our ministry needs right now, while ensuring we hand off that ministry to those who follow us free from the burden of extended debt. As we partner together, we’re not just building a facility — we’re building a foundation of faithful stewardship for generations yet to come.
I am immensely grateful for all God has done in and through us. We have seen lives impacted at a rate many of us simply did not expect. Further, God continues to use our church to draw many to Jesus as He heals and restores lives and families.
We have, of course, encountered challenges along the way. Currently, we have stretched our facilities far beyond their original intent and are reaching the point where they will limit our ability to do all God has called us to without expansion.
Our needs have always been met as God has faithfully blessed us. Our operating budget has faithfully sustained the ministry, but it cannot bear the full weight of this next season. We sense God calling us not only to fulfill our calling in this hour, but also to equip future generations with the facilities necessary to continue impacting the Lowcountry.
Our Generations Campaign is an effort not only to provide adequate facilities for the ministry today, but to equip those who come after us to carry on the work of the ministry without the burden of extended debt.
As we enter this next season, I want to ask each family to pray that our ministry in this region would flourish and that God would continue to meet our needs. Our hope is to continue faithfully supporting the ministry happening today while also preparing for tomorrow. We are asking each family to seek the Lord’s direction concerning giving above and beyond your normal tithes and offerings during this season, not only for our future, but for the saints God will raise up long after we are gone.
Please make every effort to be with us on Sunday, October 11, as we take time to consider God’s vision and plan for our church. Then, on Wednesday, October 14, we will gather again to further consider the need together and create space for dialogue and prayer surrounding this new venture.
We believe this is a defining moment—a season where every heart at Christian Renewal joins together in faith and purpose. Our desire is for each person to take bold steps forward in their walk with Christ, deepening discipleship and embracing a spirit of generosity. We are praying for God to move powerfully, opening our hearts wide so that we can fully become who He created us to be together.
The leadership of Christian Renewal Church, have been seeking wisdom and praying earnestly to hear God’s will in this process. We have three potential goals in this campaign. The first goal is set at an attainable $4 million. The second goal may take a little faith, set at $5 million. Our third goal of $6 million is attainable as well when we give generously with our finished goal in mind. After all, we serve a BIG & MIGHTY God and with Him, we can do BIG & MIGHTY things!
